Forced password change
A new faculty account, or any account flagged by the office, must set a new password before the rest of the app opens.
What this feature does
A new faculty account, or any account the office has flagged, cannot use the rest of the app until a new password is set. The phone and the public website both stop on a change-password screen.
This keeps a temporary password from staying in use after the first sign-in.
Forced password change is on the Mobile app and Website. It is not on the Web portal and Desktop.
How it flows
- 1Sign in with the temporary password
- 2Set a new password
- 3The app continues
Step by step: how to use it
- 1Sign in with the temporary password
The account opens only as far as the change-password screen.
- 2Set a new password
The person types a password they will remember.
- 3The app continues
Home, fees, and classes open only after that change is saved.

More in Sign-in
Sign in with email, phone, or roll number and a password. Each app then opens the home screen for that person's role.
Guests sign into the mobile app with a one-time code. The public website also texts a code to confirm a phone number on an inquiry or partner-college form.
Guests can enter with a Google account on the phone. The website uses the same Google sign-in when someone checks out a paid course.
